Terms &
Conditions

The terms governing all repair, servicing and maintenance work carried out at TuneUp Workshop. Please read these before booking.

Last updated: 16 July 2026

01Scope of Work

All repair, servicing and maintenance work is carried out at our workshop in Noosaville, Queensland. We service road, gravel, mountain, e-bike and triathlon bicycles. Estimates are provided before work begins and are valid for 14 days.

Additional work identified during servicing will be discussed and approved before proceeding. No charges are incurred for work you have not authorised.

02Estimates & Payment

Written or verbal estimates are provided based on visible inspection. Hidden damage or wear may only become apparent during disassembly. Where actual costs are likely to exceed the estimate, we will contact you for approval before continuing.

Payment is due on collection of the bicycle. We accept cash, card and bank transfer. Bicycles will not be released until payment has been received in full.

03Deposits

Custom build commissions and major overhauls requiring special-order parts may require a deposit of up to 50%. Deposits are non-refundable once parts have been ordered, unless the part is unavailable from our supplier.

04Turnaround Times

Turnaround times are estimates based on current workshop load and parts availability. We will advise an expected completion date at drop-off. Delays caused by parts availability or additional work requiring approval are not grounds for cancellation.

05Consumer Guarantees

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a repair or re-service if our work fails to meet the consumer guarantee of acceptable quality. This does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused after collection.

06Liability

We take reasonable care in all work performed. Our liability is limited to the cost of re-performing the service or, at our discretion, a refund of the service fee. We are not liable for consequential loss, including injury or damage arising from bicycle failure after collection, except where required by law.

07Unclaimed Bicycles

Bicycles left unclaimed for more than 60 days after completion notification may be disposed of or sold to recover costs, after reasonable attempts to contact the owner.
